SEVEN ARTS ACQUIRES MOTION PICTURE “RADIO FREE ALBEMUTH” FOR DISTRIBUTION

HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Market WIRE)--Seven Arts Pictures plc (Seven Arts) (NASDAQ:SAPX) announced today the acquisition of the motion picture “Radio Free Albemuth” for foreign and domestic distribution. Seven Arts agreed to act as sales agent for the picture through its subsidiary, Seven Arts Pictures Louisiana.

“Radio Free Albemuth” is based on Philip K. Dick’s novel of the same name and stars Shea Whigham (“Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans”, “Fast & Furious”), Katheryn Winnick (“Killers”, “Failure to Launch”) and Alanis Morissette (“Weeds”) and was written and directed by John Alan Simon.
